When you're at a family reunion, you will probably want to capture as many of those treasured moments as you can.  After all, those tiny babies and toddlers won't always be that small and adorable.  And none of us will be here forever.  So, if you don't have a camcorder or camera, now would be a great time to get one.  Besides, it would be nice to be able to show them at next year's reunion!

Digital Camcorders:  If you're a family movie enthusiast, you can do all kinds of things when you pair a camcorder with a computer.  Some camcorders let you record straight to a DVD instead of tape.  Or, you can upload your movies to your computer and burn them to DVD yourself.  You can even watch them on your VCR so the whole family can enjoy them.  Whatever method you choose, you'll have a wonderful time watching those family movies over and over again.

Digital Cameras:  They've come a long way from those grainy, 1 megapixel blurry photos, to crisp, clean, vivid, color photos.   No more waiting to get them developed!  Now you can print your treasured family photos at home with amazing quality.  They're almost as instant as a Polaroid, and you can pick and choose which photos you want to print in the privacy of your own home.  Pictures look awful?  Well, don't waste money getting them printed.  Just delete them and start taking new ones.  Ain't technology grand?  Try an online printing service, such as Snapfish.com to upload your photos and have them printed and shipped to you.  How easy is that?  You can find great prices on Cameras and Accessories at Newegg.com.

35mm Cameras:  If you prefer not to deal with all that technical mumbo jumbo, then you may want to stick to the 35mm.  It's tried and true, and now more easy to use than ever.  Many of them have auto focus so, just point and shoot...with maybe a little zooming in and out.  This can be a lower cost alternative to digital cameras.  Sure you'll have to get your prints developed, but you'll still have bright, beautiful photos that will last a lifetime.  Besides, you can have them in an hour!
